Personal Blog Change

Ok...sorry to drive my family and friends bonkers!!! haha

I've decided to go back to using my personal blog for personal blogging! Then keep this photography blog for business photography only.

So yeah, I'm going to maintain two blogs...somehow with my busy life!

After using this one for personal blogs, I realized that I do not like posting personal things on my business blog. :) I want to keep it all about photography only.

Our Boy! :)

In our many moves, most of my son's photos have gotten destroyed. One thing that happened...his birth and most of his baby photo album was ruined.

While looking for something else in my closet, I came across this pack of photos in a container that has some of his baby items. I was soooooo happy to find these!! His birthday was a few weekends ago...so sweet and can't believe he is 12 now!!

Our Bud on Drums

Our son had taken drum lessons for about 6 mons, then was not able to take them for over a yr and a half, while husband was in school.

After three recent lessons (with the same friend who is teaching him guitar), this is where he is at now. :)

He dedicated this vid specifically to a dear friend of ours who was the music teacher for both of our children back home K-3rd and 4th grades. He and our daughter both actually had TWO wonderful music teachers at the elementary school they attended. :)

(oh...during one part of the vid, you seem him look around to his left and get a little distracted for a moment...that is b/c his sister was walking down the stairs)

Son on Guitar

Our son just got a guitar for his birthday in Feb. It is a special guitar because it belonged to he grandfather. It's a 1970's vintage Yamaha classical/acoustic guitar. :)

Here is his first melody duet with his instructor.

Our Homeplace

This weekend was our son's birthday. So we took him to our hometown. On the way I took these photos of the sky. It was so beautiful on the drive over!











While we were visiting we went to our family farm to take photos of the Homeplace. Here is a collage of two special homes. :)

And a special surprise. A calf was born on our son's birthday. If the calf is a male, they are going to name him after our son. :)



Here is our Aunt at her home which is on our family's farm. I've not got the natural light worked correctly because it was a quick snapshot, and I wanted the mountains behind them.

Jordan's Pre and Post Surgery photos :)

So, Jordan had her 1 yr post op visit with the scoliosis surgeon yesterday. I cannot believe it has been one yr since her surgery date! We are so thankful to God for her good progress!! The Doc. even said she can ride roller coasters this summer. :-D

While we were there, they allowed me take a photo of her pre op spine. We had gotten the post op, but hadn't taken the "pre" surgery photo. :) Here is the comparison for you guys to see, especially for you curious folks in the medical field. ;) It is difficult to see, but as the twist goes from bottom to top, her spine was actually beginning to twist from back to front as it went around into the second part of the "S" curve.

So Random!

Ok, Sometimes I just need to do some random creating/editing in between regular edits. These edits are sooooo way random, but it was relaxing and nice to do whatever.

This first photo is one that my son photographed and I edited with some of Rita's last yr Valentine textures. He's so talented with the camera already at age 11. Nice focus on the eyes Josh! :)



Below is my friend's baby...such a sweet heart. We put this fun boa around her (which belongs to my daughter), and hey...had to pull out the camera! Of course!! More of Rita's last yr Coffeeshop textures were used here. Also one texture from a flickr texture group.
